![]() Sonic walks to the right after the boss during a cutscene in order to get into position to start Act 2. If you bounce the goalpost to the right location to pop out a hidden box, then stand to the left of it, you get stuck and have to reset the game. There is also an issue with one of the later Act 1 bosses that gets you stuck. You have to wait for a time out to kill you. The Zone 2 boss has a bug where if you hold right at the wrong time, you get stuck and can't leave the boss area. They are small things but when you encounter them it means a 20 minute restart of the level which is immensely frustrating. ![]() Also one specific path (which i think a lot of people will take) in flying battery zone is an absolute nightmare to play and is significantly harder than the alternative paths. It's not horrible, but when you lost all your lives just getting there the first time, and it took 30 minutes to do so, it can be a drag to get kicked back to square one because of a bug. Twice I've had a boss completely freeze, becoming impossible to kill, which means I have to restart the entire level and go through everything again due to a bug. The only issue I think worth mentioning is that some of the bosses are buggy. I sometimes would start exploring new paths and it was like playing an entirely different act. I was also surprised by just how dense every level was. There's a lot to love here and I really hope SEGA starts a new trilogy of platformers kicked off by Mania. Time attack is a lot more fun than I expected, this game seems ripe for speedrunning. Gorgeous graphics, awesome worlds, insanely varied challenges, mechanics, and enemies. I've been playing it on PS4, really fun, would definitely recommend it. ![]() ![]() /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creesch./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban.
